Pre-registration to the 2006 UCI BMX World Championships Autor: Administrator (marek.psenicka@centrum.cz), Téma: News BMX, Source: www.uci.ch Vydáno dne 24. 04. 2006 (2414 přečtení) Pre-registration to the 2006 UCI BMX World Championships Pre-registration to the 2006 UCI BMX World ChampionshipsIn regards of the pre-registration of riders to the 2006 UCI BMX World Championships, to be held in Sao Paolo, Brazil on July 28-30, the UCI would like to further clarify the registration procedure and rules.Pre-registration for riders in the Championship classes (Elite Men, Elite Women, Junior Men and Junior Women) are set forth in Chapter 6 IV.G.1a as follows; Pre-registration for the World BMX Championship/Challenge is subject to the following restrictions: a. Championship level In the elite and junior classes riders may be entered only if they have scored at least 1 point in the UCI BMX Continental ranking in the same calendar year. In addition to this rule, the UCI will also allow National Federations to enter a maximum of 8 (eight) riders in each Championship class that does not fulfill the requirements mentioned above. Note that this does not concern Championships Cruiser classes (where the registration will remain unlimited). All pre-registration must be done through the UCI online registration service (www.uci.ch), where each National Federation will use their login and password. The online registration will be activated May 15, 2006 with the following deadlines; Deadline for registration of Challenge classes; June 15, 2006 Deadline for registration of Championship classes; July 14, 2006 More information regarding the pre-registration will be published shortly. |
